born rich: ultimate guide to the most expensive things in the world

Sometimes I’m still amazed by the serendipity of the interweb.  For instance, who would have thought that my search for the name of a $600/bottle of perfume (it’s Black Orchid, by Tom Ford ) we smelled last night at Nordstom’s Spring Fragrance event would lead me to another juicy luxury blog.  This one surprisingly, out of India.

Born Rich covers the full spectrum of all things luxe.

From Metronaps’ “Energy Pod” pictured above (a mere $8,000 affords you a 20 minute snooze in cube farm) to the eerily intriguing LED Jellyfish Aquarium and even the new “Orient Express In the Sky” private cabin service from Jet Airways (the pictures on this really need to be seen to be believed), Born Rich dishes the goods.

I tried convincing my old boss to buy me a metronap. He wouldn’t.

They used to have them in the empire state building for timed rentals.
