Better Emailing

Email — who doesn’t use it? This is especially so at any corporate job. The volume of email can be staggering as your inbox creeps into the hundreds and thousands of messages.
Particletree has a roundup of articles on email and making better use of it. From writing messages more clearly to getting good customer support, it’s worth checking out. (Bonus link: Becoming an Email Ninja at 43 Folders)

Two favorites, from the ‘tics I’d like you to lose’ bit on 43 Folders:
The 18-line sig about all the Bad Things that will happen to me if I ever reveal the contents of your privileged, confidential (and unencrypted) message
The including of my — plus 98 other strangers’ — personal email addresses in the “To:” line of your friendly reminder about Tyler’s birthday party
That’s a whole lot of links to articles about emailing.
