best dinner deal in dowtown denver: pizzeria mundo
June 17, 2008 by Cash

Pizzeria Mundo used to be an international pizza buffet, featuring all manner of strange ethnicy concoctions. New ownership has changed the menu back to the basics; excellent pie, pasta and a variety of hipster friendly, cheap beer (PBR, Schlitz, Mickey’s). They also serve salads and sandwiches.
The best part is the price.
My current afterwork fix?
1 cheese slice (which is 1/4 a pizza really) and two 12 oz PBR’s.
The total cost, including tax? $4.33

No more pizza buffet? But it was so yummy!
There were some goodies, but I’ll still take $2 slices over $9 buffet any day..
Very true. I remember paying for everyone one drunken night….kinda pricey for pizza….
If you’re in Adams Morgan in DC for a night of drinking, Pizza Mart is a necessity. Slices, and I use the term “slice” extremely loosely, are ~$4 if I remember correctly.
Not only are they extremely delicious, but are big enough to feed two people (or one if you’re extremely hungry). They’re so big they are served on two paper plates, side by side, and even then the tip of the pizza needs to be folded over.
In fact, here’s a random flickr picture: http://flickr.com/photos/cindyli/141952499/
Amazing.
Holy KRAP Jess.. that is awesome.
