bad movies

There are times when I want to watch a critically acclaimed, emotionally gripping film that leaves a mark on me long after its done.

Then there are times when I’m looking for something a little lighter. Say, a movie that promises to teach me why I should “never get a blowjob from some woman with two-inch fangs”.

For discovering gems like these, there’s one place to go.

Badmovies.org is a digest of b-movies. It features reviews based on two criteria:

1. How bad is the movie?
2. How much fun is it to watch?

The higher the number of slime blobs it receives means the higher the entertainment value. Most reviews include screen caps, mp3 files and even free movie clips.

They also all follow a format that includes my favorite section: “Things I learned from watching this movie” (such as “I don’t need to watch some overweight county sheriff, with bed head and in his underwear, take a leak.”) as well as other sections detailing plot and even “Stuff to watch for” where the author gives you specific times during the movie when something awesome is about to happen.

This area contains such important information as “14 mins: RANDOM GRATUITOUS BREAST SHOTS”.

Important stuff indeed.
