bachelor pad: magazine stools

I’ve been putting my old periodicals to decent use as occasional source material for UM, but perhaps they’d be even handier as impromptu furniture. Design Crack has a link to Arik Levy’s “Stool Wraps” which are (thankfully) less bodily-function related than they sound:
Arik Levy has created a design that takes recycling to new levels while also creating an opportunity for those magazine hoarders out there to remain fashionably clutter free and still keep their magazines.
My favorite part? This insightful observation:
We all know these people. Usually they are older single people who have saved every magazine for the past forty years because they think they might use them again some day.

Interesting idea. I had several smaller boxes full of magazines that I brought with me to my last place, but before I moved I actually went through each and every one of them and physically removed the articles that I thought would be worth keeping.
If I had to guess I probably turned a 2.5 foot stack of magazines into a 1.5 inch stack of paper. Perhaps Arik Levy can create a strap that will let me turn my stack into a booster seat.
OMG Jess… lol fo real at that last line.
An excellent idea BTW. I’ve considered doing something like that, but never seem to make the time.
I am always throwing old magazines out. Perhaps I’ll start saving them as magazine stool gifts for others…
You know how much I like shopping @ Greg Mart.
