Are Most Men Good at Ironing?
June 20, 2008 by Greg

Today I trade in my jeans for a pair of slacks for a business meeting this afternoon. Realizing I didn’t have a pair of decent black shoes to match the clothes I had dry-cleaned earlier this week, I had to switch my previously planned attire. I then found myself crouched on the floor ironing a pair of tan pants. While ironing is something I’m good at, I wonder, is anyone else out there handy with a press?

Phuk ironing. Steaming’s where it’s at.
YOU ARE NOT YOUR FUCKING KHAKIS
I’m great at ironing. Got good in high school because my mom didn’t do it right. Of course, now that it left to mr. dry cleaner now…
It’s so much easier with an actual ironing BOARD!! They don’t take up much space, and they surely aren’t expensive, so why don’t you have one? Your clothes (and back) will thank you.
Brian,
That’s my game too. All to the dry-cleaner. For $1.75 it’s worth every penny for a nicely pressed shirt.
Caroline,
Ah, well yes, I have one. It’s just a little table top one, that, void a table, I put on the floor…
You may not have a table but you do have windows:

While I am good with shirts I find that pants are too much of a challenge. I need to get one of those clothes-pressers, or, even better, a laundress (fantasies abound…)…
Cheers,
Steve
Oh yeah man, I freaking rule!! I even been thinking about taking up extreme ironing.
