amazon prime search engine

Although I’m way behind Greg when it comes to my Amazon fanboy status, I seem to be catching up.  My first experience with their Amazon mp3 download service was a hit, and I’m finally starting to grasp just how awesome “Amazon Prime” is.

For those who don’t know:

Amazon describes Amazon Prime as

All you can eat’ express shipping”. Basically, you pay $79 per year and get unlimited free 2-day shipping on all items sold by and shipped from Amazon.com (but not third-party sellers). It’s the best thing ever: there’s no minimum purchase price to qualify for free shipping, you can share your Prime account with up to 4 family members, and you can upgrade to overnight shipping for $3.99 per item.

I’ve started using it for just about everything, from socks to coffee (speaking of, there is a slamming deal right now on Senseo coffee pods -33% off, or just 29 cents a cup).

The only pain in the ass?

Amazon Prime only works on Amazon sold and shipped items.  Since Amazon offers stuff from millions of other retailers, finding something that’s “Prime eligible” can be taxing.

Enter I Search Better.   ONLY Amazon Prime items are returned in search results.

I love me some prime. I used to use the external engines, but then I found that in most searches, if you pick a category then you can usually drill down by seller.

Good tip Greg.. I’ll give that a shot.
