Graph Humor

08Feb07
by Greg

If you think cartesian graphs and venn diagrams are funny, then you are going to love indexed.  Created by Jessica Hagy, a petite brunette with horn rimmed glasses, who, despite her masters in applied mathematics, is a devilishly fine vixen.  I love those naughty little mathematicians.  Actually, I don’t know what Jessica really looks like [...]

A few months ago, my good friend Zach started bartending at an impossibly fashionable downtown lounge.
Believe you me, this has its perks for an alcohol aficionado like myself. Being treated like a VIP complete with priority order taking, comped drinks, and even the occasional post-last call partying is a dream come true.
I do [...]

The first question people sheepishly ask about my personal chef is about whether it is expensive. The simple answer is yes. There are a few other factors to consider here though, such as quality of the meal, health, and time saved. To accurately answer this question requires a dissection of the real [...]

One of the cardinal rules of attracting attention (i.e. women) in bars and clubs is to have a look that makes you stand out.
Some people take this concept to a bizarre ‘clothing as performance art’ extreme sometimes referred to as ‘peacocking’.
In my opinion, unless this level of showmanship is completely congruent with who you truly [...]

Yesterday I received my first order from my personal chef. If you have never done this before, you must try this. It is, perhaps, the only way to live.

There are thousands of music review sites floating around the WWW, a handful of which actually feature information I find helpful, or more importantly- interesting to read.
One of my favorites flies well beneath the mainstream radar.

Beyond Boutique Hotels

When I travel, I prefer to avoid the bigger chain hotels.  This is not because I am a liberal yupster (def), but rather I prefer the individuality and personality of a boutique hotel.  However this list of hotel rooms takes it to a different level.

Some stories almost write themselves, and in the spirit of minimalism I’m gonna let this one do just that.

While the news of Jessica Alba appearing in anything outside of the obituaries is typically music to my ears, finding out she’s set to star with Tom “Car Crash of a publicity disaster” Cruise is a bit unsettling.

Sometimes it’s a good idea to compare several complexes before making a decision.
After all, you never know what features one place may offer that are truly unique.
Gun fire?  Motorcycle races in the night?  A crazy lady to chase you through the parking lot?  But of course!

My Automated Life

05Feb07
by Greg

Returning to work after a 3 month hiatus was a shock to my schedule. I had been living a life devoid of alarm clocks. I enjoyed leisurely mornings, extended lunches, scheduled siestas, and socially rich evenings. Translation: I woke up when I wanted, drank wine with lunch, took a nap, and went [...]

To paraphrase the brilliant Brendon, of WWTDD, if you ever see someone on the street with Cameron Diaz, and they’re NOT punching her in the face, that’s s not me.
I have a real disdain for Ms. Diaz and her idiotic do-goodery.  It seems fake and is beyond annoying.
So how about you?  Who would you like [...]

I know a lot of guys who fantasize about walking in on some steamy hot, ‘lipstick lesbian’ action.
At Camden Legacy (formerly Scottsdale Legacy), you can find it right in the leasing office.

Continuing with my religious theme, our friday video is featuring a current meme of blasphemy.  You can earn a free DVD by participating, all it costs is your soul!

Hat tip to Cash for the recommendation.

Kansas Public Education

by Greg

In 2005, Kansas decided to offer their budding youth access to not only evolutionary theory, but creationism as well. In order to secure a balanced education for the next generation, concerned citizen Bobby Henderson offered the Kansas School Board a similar curriculum amendment, The Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Furry friends can bring lighthearted joy to people’s homes and hearts.  Cats and dogs have both been proven to add years to one’s lifespan through their companionship and playfulness.
Tuscany Villas’ furry creatures however, arn’t exactly ‘playful’ and they’re definitely not cats and dogs.
*I should note, that of all the apartment ratings I’ve read (and as [...]

Las Vegas and celebrities are a match made just south of heaven.
Both are vain, neon and fools gold draped edifaces hiding dark, erotic secrets beneath family friendly facades.
Vegas is also a stone’s throw (or short private jet ride, as the case may be) away from Hollywood proper, further enhancing its weekend allure for the celebutard [...]

01Feb07
by Greg

Nothing I love more than fun with the lord.  With a variety of religious websites out there, I thought it apt time to share some of these with urban monarch readers.  The first combines two great things, god and Legos.  Enter The Brick Testament.
