10 dumbest and/or funniest usb gadget gifts

For a final farewell to the Christmas season; here’s 10 truly stupid USB gadgets I’m glad I didn’t find under the tree.  (I don’t think even my “Dance Dance Revolution” OBSESSED friend Zac would dare slip on the fro-tastic, USB powered “Dance Mat” pictured above.)

Sadly, this isn’t the worst of the bunch.

Consider for a moment the USB Noodle Strainer.  Used for the Japanese dish “Soumen” (cold, sauce covered noodles)

Your laptop battery powers the flowing circulation of ice-cold water, which cools the pre-cooked soumen noodles to their desired frigid temperature. Add toppings and, voilà: You win an award for the stupidest waste of battery power ever.

Another contender? Warmmi USB Heating Knee Pads.

An ingeniously simple solution for chilly Internet-surfing conditions, these $20 leg warmers toast your lower appendages through the magic of USB. They’re perfect for flying, too. Why go through the trouble of fetching your laptop bag out of the overhead bin to power these babies instead of cuddling up to a free, easy to reach blanket? Lice, baby!
